The Ministry of Defense has launched an investigation into the circumstances under which the Arrow boy's demobilization exercise was carried out.
The UPDF Spokesperson, Major Felix Kulayigye, says his office has received several complaints from members of the Arrow Boys militia group who allege that the exercise was mishandled.
The former Arrow Boys counter intelligence officer, Robert Adiama, says they have so far recorded over 100 complaints against some UPDF commanders.
Adiama says the complaints will be forward to the ministry of defense for follow up.
Kulayigye says the demobilization of the militias was a major activity undertaken by government. He said that it would be vital to find out what could have gone wrong in order to avert further agitations.
Kulayigye warns that UPDF commanders found guilty of mismanaging the demobilization exercise will be punished.
