The World Bank has cleared Arua Municipal Council to start road works under the USMID Uganda Support to Municipal Infrastructure Development(USMID) project.

In a meeting held on Thursday at Desert Breeze with the municipal officials, the World Bank team resolved that the two roads be immediately worked on this financial year before other funds are released for other infrastructural projects.

Martin Onyach-ola, the head of World Bank Team tasked the Municipality to ensure that the procurement process is expedited.
