A team of  Police detectives  led by Geoffrey Katongole  the officer in charge Kireka police station,  visited the scene  with  police sniffer dogs, but they were unable to do much since the scene was tempered with by the curious crowds.

Rashid Mulindwa, one of the deceased's close friend, also suspects that the assailants were thugs who came disguised as artistes. He said the killers vanished with some studio machines after their mission.

"They took advantage of a sound proofed studio to kill him  in silence, that’s why no one heard anything despite the fighting, but they took some instruments in the studio, money and other things including computers," said Rashid.

Kampala Metropolitan Deputy Police spokesperson Luke Owoyesigyire said they have recovered some exhibits at the scene including two sharp knives that were used as the hunt for the killers continues.
