Education and security authorities in Wakiso district have cautioned school authorities to be on high alert over fire outbreaks.
The warning comes after fire gutted the boy's dormitory at St Augustine's College on Monday, the second time in two weeks destroying students' property worth millions.
The first fire broke out during the silver jubilee celebrations of the school prompting parents to storm the school to physically confirm that no children had been injured in the fires.
Only one student got a heart attack during the stampede. Now, Wakiso District Education Officer, Fredrick Kiyingi Kinobe, says school proprietors and head teachers shouldn't let down their guard as it seems the fire outbreaks in schools have returned.

Justus Toshobya, the Wakiso Division Police Commander, says they are yet to conclude their investigations into both fire outbreaks.
He also advises the students and teachers to be alert on such emergencies and equip themselves with firefighting skills and equipment.
