for the LC III chairperson.
The position felt vacant on February 16th, 2021 following the mysterious death of the newly elected chairperson, Fred Oteka, 41
at Awach Health Centre IV where he was admitted with stomach complications. Oteka
passed on before taking the oath of office.

concerns from Awach Sub County. He revealed that the
Commission is working on the road map to conduct elections for
vacant positions across the country.
