KCCA FC will face a tough test this afternoon as they battle Tanzanian side Azam FC in a semi final clash at the on-going 2015 Cecafa Kagame Club Championship in Dar es Salaam.

Speaking to URN on phone this morning KCCA FC\'s assistant coach Sam Ssimbwa said they are more than ready to put up a good performance against the home side. “We lost 1-0 to the same side in the Group stage, but we are better prepared now,” said Ssimbwa.

The former Cranes winger said the technical bench is impressed with the improved performances the team has showed in every game. KCCA FC started with a 1-0 loss to Azam before registered 1-0 wins over Adama City (Ethiopia) and Malakia FC (South Sudan) in Group C.

They picked a comfortable 3-0 victory at the  quarter final stage against Al Shandy of Sudan.

Former Asante Kotoko defender Joseph Ochaya who netted in the quarter final tie is expected to play a big role for KCCA FC alongside industrious Ivan Ntege, Habib Kavuma and Muzamir Mutyaba.

KCCA FC should however keep a close watch on the likes of John Bocco and Ivory Coast import Kipre Tchetche. Two other Ugandans Godfrey Walusimbi and Khalid Aucho will also be in action when they lead Kenya Premier League Champions Gor Mahia against Al Khartoum of Sudan in the other semi final clash.

The finals and play-offs will be played on Sunday with the champions will pocket UGX99 million (US$30,000), while the runners-up will take UGX66 million (US$20,000) and the third placed UGX33 million (US$10,000).
