Azam Uganda Premier League Champions SC Vipers Face Bidco

The 2014/2015 Azam Uganda Premier League (UPL) will come to a climax this afternoon with eight games on card.

The 2014/2015 Azam Uganda Premier League (UPL) will come to a climax this afternoon with eight games on card.

Sports Club Vipers who already won the title last week will officially receive their trophy after hosting Bidco FC at the Buikwe ground. Haruna Kyobe, the SC Vipers Director told URN that they will have several performances by musicians at Buikwe to celebrate the good performance through out the season. State Minister for Sports, Charles Bakkabulindi is expected to grace the match.

The likes of Farouk Miya who scored one of the goals in the 2-0 win over SC Villa last week together with Mike Mutyaba and old guard Vincent Kayizzi are expected to lead SC Vipers in their quest to finish the season with another win.

SC Vipers lead the table with 66 points, while Ibrahim Kirya\'s SC Villa are second on 62 points. Bright Stars FC will host SC Villa in another game, while KCCA FC host Lweza FC.

In the other games on card Entebbe FC and Rwenshama FC who are already relegated will face off, while Kira Young who are on the verge of dropping to the lower Division will play army side Simba SC.

SC Victoria University which was bought of by Kampala MP Muhammad Nsereko will play away to Sadolin Paints FC, while sixth placed Police FC host Soana FC.

As the League comes to a climax Maroons FC, The Saints and Jinjia Municipal Council have already qualified for the 2015/2016 Azam Uganda Premier League.
