Henry Matovu, an employee of MTN, says they stumbled on Oumas body when they went to refuel the generator.
Kabale police have recovered the body of 22-year-old Kenneth Ouma, a guard attached to Protectorate SPC Security Company. Ouma's decomposing body was recovered on Sunday from his work station at the MTN mast in Kabaraga hills in Kaharo Sub County in Kabale District.
Henry Matovu, an employee of MTN, says they stumbled on Ouma's body when they went to refuel the generator. According to Matovu, they last saw Ouma three weeks ago in good health.
Ouma was permanently stationed at the mast. Ely Maate, the Kigezi Region Police Spokesperson, says they have handed over Ouma's body to Kabale Regional Referral Hospital for postmortem. He faults the security company for deploying a single guard at the mast well knowing it is a risky area.
