Body of Drowned Fisherman Recovered from Lake Kyoga

Moses Opio, one of the fishermen who found Opam’s body floating on the lake said that he was going to check on his nets when he saw the body floating.
Fishermen have recovered the body of their colleague from Lake Kyoga in Pallisa district. 

The deceased has been identified as Paul Opam, a fisherman from Kalen village Chelekura Sub County.

 

His lifeless body was found floating on Lake Kyoga near Aleles landing site on Tuesday morning.

Abraham Ekenei, the Chelekura Sub county LC III chairperson appealed to fishermen to move in groups so as to support each other in case of a problem.
