Godfrey Bwaya, the LC III chairperson Nakatsi Sub County has asked residents to embrace the town council since it is a form of development that will bring services closer to them and create employment opportunities for their children.

Geoffrey Natubu, the Bududa District Speaker has asked residents to follow the right procedures if they want to be removed from the town council. The Bududa district LC V Chairperson, Wilson Watira, says the parishes were annexed as a way of extending services closer to the people.

He said that if the three parishes are not contented being part of the town council then they should pass a resolution as a sub county.  Currently, Bududa has five town councils including Bududa, Bushigai, Nangako, Kikholo and Kuushu.
