Other accounts claim that Alex Kajwarire was killed by young men who accused the accused of eloping with their mother.
The Police in Buhweju are investigating circumstances leading to the death of Alex Kajwarire, a Uganda Prison Service warder. So far, different accounts have emerged regarding the death including claims that he he might have been murdered by the sons of his lover.
It is also suspected that the killers aimed at robbing 150,000 shillings that Alex Kajwarire had withdrawn from a mobile money agent located within Nsiika Town Council
Kajwaire was
killed on the 4th of August at night. His body was found lying in the
middle of the road in Nsiika Town Council Buhweju
district. The body had multiple bruises.
Police have
since arrested four brothers who they suspect to have murdered Kajwarire. The suspects include, Nuwabeine Innocent, Sabarangira Lawrence, Tunanukye Vicent, and
Asiimwe Goodwin all residents of Kakiika cell in Nsika Town Council.
Marcial Tumusiime, the Greater Bushenyi Regional Police Spokesperson earlier disclosed that the
four brothers accused the deceased of having a love affair with their mother, Kasande Specioza.
They faulted
the love affair between their mother and the deceased for the domestic violence
that forced their father Deus Kasheija to abandon his family.
However, sources
privy to the investigations say that on a fateful day, the deceased left his workstation and went to Nsika Town Council where he withdrew one hundred and
fifty thousand shillings (150.000=) from his mobile money account but did not
return to his work station.
Tumusiime
says police are trying to collaborate on the information starting with the
alleged love affair between the two Kasande and the deceased, and that of the suspected
murder after a robbery.
Tumusiime
narrated that earlier information showed that the deceased was found having
sexual intercourse with the children of his lover who felt ashamed and hit him to
death.
He adds that
police has preferred both Murder and Robbery against the suspects who will be
taken to court after investigations are completed.
