Bundibugyo in fear as two more people die from unidentified disease.

The death of two more people from yet unidentified disease in Bundibugyo district has intensified fear and panic among residents. A Uganda People's Defense Forces Soldier attached to Butogo army detach and Galibula Munyonyo died on Tuesday.
Munyonyo a resident of Ntoroto parish in Kasitu Sub County met his death at Kikyo health Center IV where he had been admitted. At the time of his admission Galibula had high fever, was vomiting and passing out blood.
The Chief Administrative Officer Bundibugyo, Elias Byamungu says the dead UPDF soldier he did not want to name had been admitted at Bundibugyo hospital on Monday. He says two other patients who had been admitted in the isolation ward have been discharged.
The district health officer, Dr. William Sikeyewunda says blood samples have been sent to Entebbe for investigations. Last week ministry of health and World Health Organization (WHO) officials rushed to Bundibugyo following the death of 15 people, who died from suspected meningitis.
The blood samples were taken to the Uganda Virus Research Institute in Entebbe and the results returned negative.
