According to Eng. Fred Mugenyi Ruchunya, the Bunyoro Kingdom chief Prince, the deceased has been battling blood cancer for the last three years.
Princess Juliet Kabachunga Amooti, the sister of Bunyoro Kitara King, Solomon Gafabusa Iguru I has died.
Kabachunga, the last born to the late Omukama Sir Tito Winyi died on Tuesday evening at Mulago National Referral hospital.
According to Eng. Fred Mugenyi Ruchunya, the Bunyoro Kingdom chief Prince, the deceased has been battling blood cancer for the last three years.
Ruchunya said the royal clan is very saddened with the death of Kabachunga whom she described as a social and caring person.
Andrew Byakutaga, the Prime Minister Bunyoro Kitara Kingdom on Wednesday released the tentative burial arrangement.
According to the arrangements, the body will on Thursday be transported to Buchunga, Mparo division Hoima municipality at the ancestral home.
On Friday, the deceased will be buried on Friday at Mparo royal tombs.
Hajji Bruhan Kyakuhairwe, the Bunyoro Kingdom special assistant in charge of culture said the deceased was a strong pillar in advising cabinet ministers on how to handle kingdom affairs.
In January, King Iguru lost his first daughter Princess Victoria Kabagabu.
