Mustafa Kiiza scored the lone KCCA FC goal from a spot kick from the 18 yard box in the 38th minutes.

KCCA’s head coach, Mike Mutebi said his team is organized but still struggles to get a win. “My team has earned six points in two matches but have seen them struggling to it,” he said.

Adding that “Today we came to play an equally organized team at both attacking and containing the ball, which partly disorganized us in the second half although victory remained ours. We are seriously working on both scoring goals and containing our wins in the early minutes of the match.”

Busoga United’s FC Abby Kikomeko blamed the loss of his team on lack of self-esteem to tackle big clubs in the league. “The team is good; they have acquired a lot of skills in ball maintaining. But the only problem is that the boys lack guts to faceoff with bigger clubs in the league and that’s why most of the chances went to waste,” he said.

Kikomeko said he is mentoring the team to contain pressure. “I have realized that, the team is full of young men who play on pressure. However, am mentoring them to calm down their tension and treat all their contenders with football skills suiting the game of football,” he said.

Last week, Busoga united lost away to Tooro United 2-0.
