Busoga United Unveils Seven New Players Ahead of Tomorrow’s Tie

Busoga United FC has unveiled seven new players to boost its squad ahead of their away match against Onduparaka FC tomorrow. The players are 18-year- old Elvis Ngonde, 17-year- old Ibrahim Ekollet and 21-year-old George Kalyowa, all from the club’s junior side.

The others are Isaac Wagoina, a forward from Iganga young FC, attacking midfielders, Bernard Wamusi and Byron Benda from Kataka FC and the Edgars Academy respectively and Shaka Ssozi, a forward from Nyamityobora FC.

Ngonde, who spoke on behalf of his colleagues, says that they will strive to ensure that their new club maintains its glory in the league. “Our target is to ensure that the club outshines her critiques throughout the remaining matches,” he said.

The Club’s Chief Executive Officer, Andrew Ndyabahika challenged their fans to stay calm and wait for better results in the course of the league.  The new signings are expected to strengthen Busoga United’s midfield and striking lines so as to enable them to maintain their grip in the country’s topmost league.
