Busoga United FC has defeated MYDA FC 1-0 to register their first victory in this season’s Star Times Uganda premier league.

Busoga united earned their maiden victory during their home game at the Njeru based FUFA technical center.

MYDA’s Assistant Coach, James Kasirye blamed their loss on the six injured players who are still undergoing medical reviews.

Kasirye further says the tight UPL fixture has created fatigue among players as they lack ample time to relax ahead of other games.

He says that his players arrived a bit late, which denied them a chance to familiarize themselves with the turf in the stadium.

Abbey Kikomeko, the head coach of Busoga United FC says that his team is well composed as they approach the close of the first round of the season.

He says the players were energized enough with each one exhibiting his speciality on the pitch, which eventually earned them today’s victory.

Kikomeko boosts that since his team has returned to the winning strides, saying that they will strive to win their remaining two games against Wakiso Giants FC and Kitara FC respectively.
