Among other leads investigators are following is a possibility that the trio were killed as a result of infidelity since Kyampiire had broken up with another man who insisted that she had gone with her pregnancy.

“Late Kyampiire had separated with her husband. She carried the pregnancy into the second relationship. The owner of the previous pregnancy was demanding for the child. But we are regarding this stage regarding this speculation,” Enanga said.

Although police hasn’t concluded investigation infidelity as the motive of the shooting, locals have insisted that police pick Kyampiire’s former husband. Enanga says that by the time Akullo and FSU leave Lyantonde; all leads in regard to Ssendege, Kyampiire and Mubiru murder will be expounded.

The Lyantonde shooting came four hours after Joshua Nteireho and Mellina Tumukunde were shot dead at Entebbe Expressway. CID records of 2018 show 160 people were shot dead whereby Katwe in Kampala and Mbarara district came top.
