Crested Cranes will kick off its campaign with a tie against Rwanda on June 1st, 2022 before playing Djibouti in-game day two.

Now, after spending a couple of weeks training in Kampala, the team has shifted camp to Njeru where the tournament will be hosted, purposely to familiarize itself with the pitch before the final games.
