Cultural Leaders in Northern Uganda Call for Peaceful Coexistence

Cultural leaders in Northern Uganda have called for unity to solve peace in the region. 

The leaders attending the peace week in Koboko Catholic Parish also held a Peace march through the streets of Koboko town accompanied by Bishops, and hundreds of religious faithful. 

Kassim Alumgbe Alosu, the Cultural Leader of the Kakwa people expressed joy saying the peace week should enable people to continue showing brotherhood among themselves.

Cultural dances were performed by different groups to grace the second day of Peace Week, which will be followed by the Political Leaders’ presentation on Wednesday. 

This Year’s Peace Week is being held under the Theme: Forgive us our trespasses and Grant us Peace.
