The 74 delegates attending the on-going General Assembly of the Federation of Uganda Football Associations (Fufa) at the Kabelega Resort Hotel in Masindi will be paid UGX37 million.
Each of the delegates will be paid UGX500,000 as facilitation fees. “We shall only pay this money to the delegates who made it to Masindi,” Chief Executive Officer of the Federation, Edgar Suubi Watson told URN during the interval.
Faisal Muhammad, the Jinja delegate told URN that the federation already catered for their accommodation and meals and they will be paid the UGX500,000 after the Assembly.
The Assembly earlier recommended that starting 2018 they will each get UGX1 million for attending General Assemblies. The Assembly is made up of 88 delegates.

It was also decided that each of the 86 delegates is given chance to travel out of the country once in the four years possibly with the national teams, will be allowed to access stadium free to watch national team games, and will also be facilitated with UGX100,000 when coming to watch Afcon or World Cup qualifiers of the national team.
The elections of the new president is expected to start after 2pm as registration is on-going. Incumbent Moses Magogo is the sole candidate standing for the Fufa presidency. Proline FC chairman, Mujib Kasule who wanted to challenge Magogo was denied chance to be nominated because he did not fulfill the electoral commission requirements.
