The Kenyan bank side whitewashed Tanzania’s ABC 95-59 in another game played yesterday, while defending champions Urunanai (Burundi) beat Savio (Tanzania) 58-51 in a low scoring game. In the women’s games, defending champions KPA (Kenya) and APR were winners over Jeshi Stars and Don Bosco respectively.

Action continues today with three games at Makerere University Court and four later at the Lugogo Indoor Stadium. Uganda’s second men’s team Kyambogo Warriors will be up against Savio (Tanzania) in a game they must win to avoid an early exit having lost their opening game to Rwanda’s Espoir on Monday.

Warriors’ coach Mande Juruni told URN last night that they have gone back to the drawing board and hope to play a better game today because they are aware victory is very important if they are to have chances of progressing.
