National Resistance Movement (NRM) party leaders in Dokolo district have formed a reconciliation and disciplinary committee.

The newly elected NRM mainstream leaders, LCIII Chairpersons, Sub-county NRM chairpersons, and District councillors met to streamline plans of ensuring victory in the forthcoming elections, starting with the party primaries.

The leaders resolved to rally support for only party flag bearers, establish a disciplinary committee to handle indisciplined members, involve the women's council in other leagues of the NRM party, and organise a harmonisation meeting with nominated female candidates.

Geoffrey Opio Ekong, the Dokolo District NRM chairperson, warned aspirants against using personal coordinators, who he said are a factor causing division within the party.
