Eastern Motor Club Rally Moved to Hared Gym Grounds For Safety Reasons

The organisers of the International University of East Africa Eastern Motor Club-EMC rally championship 2020 have agreed to relocate it from Kakindu stadium to Hared gym grounds.  

Nicholas Isabirye, the rally spokesperson says Kakindu stadium is small and lack space to cater for other heavy traffic sporting activities.

He explains that Safety Officers from the Federation of Motorsport Clubs of Uganda-FMU inspected the facility together with Jinja district officials and resolved to change the venue to avoid accidents that may results from the event.

They include among others Rajiv Ruparellia, Arthur Blick, Ponsiano Rwakataka, Ronald Ssebuguzi, Duncan Mubiru, Hassan Alui, and Muzamir Twoya Mwami. 

This year’s rally, which is scheduled for Saturday morning will be flagged off by the kyabazinga of Busoga Kingdom, William Gabula Nadiope.
