International Airport, the Municipality and surrounding areas even after the swearing-in ceremony of Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, as president of Uganda for another term of office.
The deployment had earlier on been relaxed after the arrival into the country of Tanzanian President Samia Suluhu Hassan and Uhuru Kenyatta of Kenya, the last dignitaries to arrive into the country for the occasion. Forces-UPDF soldiers along the Entebbe Expressway from Kajjansi to Mpala exit point and the Kampala-Entebbe road while others are camping in gardens, and other public spaces. At the airport, over 20 police officers and ten soldiers are manning the main exit and entrance.
Amidst the heightened deployment, operations are going on smoothly with inbound and outbound passengers going on with their business but those arriving into the country can only be received by one person per traveller. Security officers are also conducting dog sweeps around the passenger terminal at intervals of about two hours.
Entebbe Deputy Resident District Commissioner Njuki Mbabali explains that the heightened deployment aims at ensuring the public does not disrupt the traffic flow since heads of state and other dignitaries are also using the same Airport. He urges the public to respect traffic rules and measures to avoid arrest and detention.

Meanwhile, residents of Entebbe said that the deployment is unavoidable because of the presence of key installations and institutions such as the airport, State House and several military barracks.

Traffic police officers have also erected roadblocks after Abaita Ababiri traffic lights for the enforcement of curfew restrictions.
