There are more election officials than actual voters at all polling stations in Entebbe Municipality and neighboring areas.

All polling stations visited by Uganda Radio Network have a handful of voters or none at all, over four hours since voting started.

At St Joseph Katabi, an area with nine polling stations, voting had not started by 8:30am because they did not have the five voters required to verify the ballot boxes before voting starts at each polling station.

At one of the polling stations at St. Joseph's Katabi, while there were already five voters queuing, the polling officials were instead not ready. Richard Masaba, who was the first in the queue, had this to say:

Cue out: … and go, period.//

At Kakeeka Playground just across State House, where there are four polling stations, the situation was even worse with just one voter at the centre. Benson Sseruwagi, one of the Polling Officers said the turn up was disappointing.

It was only at the three polling stations at Kitoro Leisure Park that had a trickle of voters, relative to other polling stations. Bridget Nakigozi, a Presiding Officer, said the process was smooth despite the low voter turn-up.

Hosia Turyasima, a bodaboda cyclist said the general feeling, including among his colleagues, is that the results may not reflect the will of the people. This, he said, was the reason they are snubbing the exercise.

At one of the polling stations, the biometric voter machine failed to read the PIN, causing more delay. Quinton Nyombi, the presiding officer, expressed his frustrations.
