Police has arrested Forum for Democratic Change presidential candidate Dr Kizza Besigye following a disagreement over a route to use to his campaign venue in the central Business District.
Besigye is accused of disregarding a Police directive to use Mukwano road, which is considered to be less congested, for his procession to the city center. He however insisted on going through the Jinja road, which runs through the city centre.
