It is alleged that the suspects with others still at large connived and waylaid Abigaba on Monday night as he was heading home from Hohwa trading centre in Kabwoya Sub County.
The police in Kikuube are holding five suspects on allegations of
murdering a 65-year-old man.

It is alleged that the suspects with others still at large connived
and waylaid Abigaba on Monday night as he was heading home from Hohwa trading
centre in Kabwoya Sub County.
They strangled him before dumping his body by the roadside and
fled to an unknown destination.
Elias Bin Kalil, the LCI Chairperson Hohwa Village says area
residents notified his office on Tuesday morning after discovering the body of
the deceased lying by the roadside.
According to Kalil, the body had bruises on the neck an indication that he was
strangled to death.
Julius Hakiza, the Albertine Region Police Spokesperson says that
they managed to arrest the five suspects who are believed to be the prime suspects.
The suspects are currently being detained at Kikuube central
police station as investigations are ongoing.
