Five people are confirmed dead in a motor accident in Kyegegwa District on the Kampala-Mubende-Fort Portal highway. The accident occurred at 12:15pm at Migongwe in Kakabara Sub County.

Five people have been killed in a road accident in Kyegegwa District.
The accident occurred at 12:15pm at Migongwe in Kakabara Sub County along the Fort Portal-Kampala highway.
The passengers were travelling in a commuter taxi registration UAZ 460W from Fort Portal.
Eye witnesses told Uganda Radio Network that the taxi which was heading to Kampala overturned killing the five on spot.
Some of the injured passengers, whose number is yet unidentified, have been taken to Mubende Hospital and Kyenjojo Hospital.
Police is at the scene of the accident and is yet to establish the identities of the dead.
