The Federation of Uganda Football Associations(FUFA) has projected a budget of UGX9,520,852,000 for the year 2016.
Decolas Kiiza, the FUFA Head of Finance while making a financial report at the 91st FUFA Assembly at Soroti Hotel on Sunday said although they are making the projection, they will have a deficit of UGX21,548,000 since the estimated income for 2016 will be UGX9,542,400,00.

Kiiza highlighted the activities of the national team, Cranes that will take
the biggest percentage of 38.55% in the expenditure at UGX3,670,000,000. According to the estimates marketing and television will take UGX1,471,800,000, while administration would require UGX1,451,642,000.
The Federation is estimating UGX1 billion to come from government, while grants from the Federation of International Football Associations (FIFA) and FIFA courses will bring in UGX1.365,000, 000 and UGX87,500,000 respectively. The Federation is also hoping to raise UGX1,194,00,000 from international matches. The Assembly passed the budget.
Speaking about the general state of Football in the country Moses Magogo, the President said there is no cause for alarm but added that their recorded achievements could be causing them problems instead. The Federation also finally presented their books of accounts for the previous year.
He called upon all the parties that are not happy with some issues to come forward speak out their minds through the proper channels because football belongs to all Ugandans. Sacked FUFA executive member Mariam Kaliga Nakulima simply watched and took notes during the Assembly.
