Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) will meet tomorrow at the FA headquarters in Mengo to sanction a plan for the Cranes campaign in the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon) qualifiers.

Mujib Kasule, the technical Committee chairman and FA Vice President in-charge of the League told URN this afternoon that they will unveil their plans for the Afcon qualifiers on Thursday at the FA headquarters in Mengo. He said the executive meeting will first take place tomorrow where they will head Coach Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic’s submitted plan.

The official however ruled out a chance of the national team playing any friendly games ahead of the qualifiers. He said the friendly game played against former African champions Zambia early last month in Ndola was enough to test the team.

The Cranes who came close to qualifying for the last three Afcon competitions will start the qualifiers next month between May 16 to18, at the second round of the preliminary stage. They will have to battle though two rounds to qualify for the group stage.

The other nations in the Cecafa region that will have to battle in the preliminary of the qualifiers include; Kenya, South Sudan, Rwanda, Tanzania and Burundi. The likes of Somalia and Djibouti did not enter the competition.
