The government will on Wednesday present a statement on the two terror attacks that have left two people dead.

On Saturday night, an explosion occurred at Digida Pork joint in Komamboga killing one person and leaving three people injured. On Tuesday, another explosion inside Swift Bus along the Kampala-Masaka Highway left one person dead.

On Tuesday, the Kasilo County MP Elijah Okupa raised a matter of procedure whether it is right for Parliament to adjourn to Wednesday without Ugandans receiving assurance from the government on what they are doing following the terror attacks.

He said that the government needs to move swift and provide information to the citizens.
