The rest of the six points, which edged up the 41 points fulltime score in favour of Hippos were earned through conversion kicks from Yasin Wasswa.
On the other hand, Warriors earned all the 15 points through five penalty kicks from Hamza Kinyai.
Hippos head coach, Edison Querisma attributed their win on team work and consistency from his players.
Hippos has been penalized eight times and Warriors successfully converted five of them, earning 15 points score, but on this, Querisma says that, they are working on their inhouse discipline to close all the gaps, which cost them points.
Querisma says that, they have so far earned four yellow cards in their past three games of the season, which damages their renowned discipline character in the league, but there are ongoing adjustments to rectify the abnormally.
Querisma however, expresses reservations about some referees whom he accused of unprofessional conduct, which has overtime resulted into the accumulation of the increasing number of penalties.
Querisma now wants the Uganda Rugby Union-URU to act against the various cases of unprofessionalism, arguing that, they require professional match officials to officiate games as it will wield comfortable ground for fairness in the sport.
Warriors head coach, Gabriel Aredo blames their loss on lack of squad depth, which is costing them good performance.
Aredo says that, the club is facing some challenges and they are largely relying on students to boost their squad, but they are hopeful of recruiting more players to boost their side.
Aredo further says that, they look forward to finishing in the mid-table areas of the league so as to avoid pressure of relegation battles.
