Hoima Municipal Council Fails to Evict Wetland Encroachers

Hoima Municipality has failed to crack down on wetland encroachers.

The most affected wetlands are Bihajuka, Rwenkondwa, Kafu, Wambabya and Kabaale among others which have been degraded due to human activities.

They have been encroached on by farmers, settlers and owners of churches and schools.
