Buzabo Village in Bufunda Division Ibanda Municipality on Thursday blocked the Buzabo
Access road protesting its poor state.
Kilometers murram road connects two villages of Buzabo, and Bufunda 1 to the
Ibanda- Mbarara Highway.
The angry residents barricaded the road with logs and tree branches to block
traffic from using the road. Motorists and pupils of Ibanda Preparatory School were
asked to use alternative routes to access the area.
the chairperson of LCI Buzabo cell, says that the road has turned into a death
trap due to its appalling state. He says they have so far lost three people and
several others injured due to the bad state of the road and drainage channel.
