Iganga Youth want Kadaga Disciplined

Audio 2

A group of young politicians in Iganga have hit back at the Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Rebecca Kadaga, for allegedly spreading political hatred.
Represented by William Tizoomu, the District Youth Chairperson, the group issued a press statement accusing Kadaga of being intolerant to other political opinions and of being disrespectful to her colleagues within the Busoga region. They say Kadaga's recent utterances against other politicians within the National Resistance Movement (NRM) were splitting the party.
Two weeks ago, during a public meeting with Henry Wako Muloki, the Kyabazinga of Busoga, Kadaga accused Information and National Guidance Minister Kirunda Kivejinja of sabotaging the progress of the NRM in Kamuli district. Kadaga is the Woman Member of Parliament for Kamuli.
According to Kadaga, Kivejinja was at the helm of opposition to her work as MP.
The Deputy Speaker's statement was not received well among some people from Busoga
