suspect, resulting in his death before the police could intervene.
Police in Hima division in Kasese district are investigating a
case of murder by a mob. Muhindo Moses, aged 38, was killed around 6:00 AM in
Kihyo village, Kitswamba, after being found with a suspected stolen bunch of bananas.
According to

suspect, resulting in his death before the police could intervene.
Investigations have been launched into the incident and the local community
has been cautioned against engaging in mob justice.

The body of the deceased was taken to Rwensande HCIV for a
postmortem examination. Meanwhile, the police are searching for a man accused
of defiling his own 1-year-old daughter.
James Byaruhanga, a resident of
Nyamatunga II village, Nyakatonzi sub-county, allegedly committed the act on
June 1 while the child's mother was away fetching salt from a neighbor.
Upon her return, she found her daughter crying with blood coming
from her private parts. The suspect reportedly fled upon seeing the mother.
Tumushime
says that the police are collaborating with other agencies to apprehend the
suspect and bring him to justice.
