Kaabong FDC Candidate Shuns Voting

At Camp Swahili Community NUSAF Hall, Adyaka’s polling station, polling closed without her voting. Charles Locham, a polling official says the candidate never turned up to vote.

Judith Adyaka Nalibe, the Forum for Democratic Change candidate in the Kaabong Woman MP by-election has shunned casting her vote.

Since tendering in her withdrawal from the race, Adyaka has never been seen in Kaabong.

Julius Ogwang Ongom, the Kaabong District Registrar says Adyaka, in her letter, withdrew from the race claiming that her party, Forum for Democratic Change-FDC had abandoned her.

“She claimed that her party had not supported her financially to compete favorably with the NRM candidate but we told her that her decision was late for consideration”, he said.
