.Taxi drivers in Kabale municipality have abandoned Kisoro Park because it has become too dilapidated. The drivers now park their taxis outside the park and along the road.

Felix Twahirwa, a taxi driver along the Kabale –Kisoro Road, says the state of the park is a danger not just to their vehicles but their lives too.

Twahirwa says the dilapidated condition of the park means that any goods being offloaded end up in the mud during the rainy season. This is costing them customers and business.

Alex Kyokusiima, a taxi driver, says he is disappointed that the Kabale central district authorities have failed to renovate the park.

Lawrence Mugisha, also a driver, says that they maybe forced to remain on the roadsides because the park has become impossible.

Mugisha and the other drivers say that though police is pressurizing them to return to Kisoro Park, the state of the park will not allow them to.

Cue out:…are confused now:”//

An apologetic Kabale Central Division Town clerk Lillian Kobusingye explains that lack of money is why they have failed to repair the park.
