Two teenagers in
Kagadi district are on the run for stabbing their colleague in the stomach on Boxing
Day over 2000 Shillings.
The suspects are both residents of Ibanda Village in
Nyamacumu Parish –Muhorro sub-county Kagadi district.
Kadaga District Police
Commander, Romeo Ojara, says the suspects waylaid their colleague identified as Ambroze Mugabi around 1:00am along Kabuga-Kasoga-Muhorro road
and stabbed him in the stomach and fled into hiding.
He was rushed to St.
Ambroze Charity Health center by good Samaritans while bleeding profusely. Ojara
says that Mugabi
owed one of the suspects Shillings 2000, which he has adamantly refused to pay back.

Twinobusingye, says his son met a gang of youth who blocked him and started
searching his pocket before they started assaulting him and pierced him with a
knife.
Adolf Tumuramye, who
took the victim to a private clinic at around 1:30am, said blood was oozing
from the victim’s stomach as he labored to rush him to the health facility.

Chairperson Nyaburungi Village, says he refered the victim’s father to police
because the case is criminal in nature.
