Parents of Kakanju Vocational Secondary School in Bushenyi district want the school head teacher, Naboth Mutsindo transferred.

He is accused of among others poor performance, dwindling school enrollment and embezzlement.

According to parents, enrollment has dropped from 400 students to only 179 students.

On Saturday, parents convened an emergency meeting where they asked the Resident District Commissioner to cause Mutsindo’s transfer.

The Parent’s Teacher Association Chairperson, Abert Aruho, says Kakanju Vocational Secondary School was ranked among the worst performing schools in the just released UCE exams.

He says that 76 students who sat for the exams failed the exams, which he blames on the head teacher.
