Kapchorwa Police Stuck with Headless Body of Woman

Police suspects that the deceased was killed from another place, her head chopped off before the body was wrapped in two bed sheets and buried in the garden.
Kapchorwa police are stuck with a headless body of unidentified woman. 

Rogers Taitika, the Sippi Region Police spokesperson, says the headless body was recovered from a shallow hole in a garden at Sirinda village, Kapsinda Sub County in Kapchorwa district on Easter Sunday.  

Police suspects that the deceased was killed from another place, her head chopped off before the body was wrapped in two bed sheets and buried in the garden.

 

Taitika says the headless body was discovered passersby who saw dogs trying to exhume it and immediately notified police.  

The torso is lying at Kapchorwa hospital mortuary waiting identification.      

He appeals to whoever has a missing person to get in touch with Kapchorwa police station. 

Taitika cautions residents against uncoordinated movements.  

"I call upon the community to be vigilante and avoid moving during night hours," he emphasized.
