Karimajong Warriors attack Village

The Resident District Commissioner Katakwi, Joseph Arwata, told Journalists in Soroti on Thursday, that the warriors attacked the village at about 3:00am on Monday and raided eight heads of cattle.
A joint force of the Uganda People’s Defence Forces and the Anti-stock theft personnel (ASTU) are tracking down the Karimojong warriors who attacked Palam village in Palam Sub County-Katakwi district on Monday night and stole eight heads of cattle.

The Resident District Commissioner Katakwi, Joseph Arwata, told Journalists in Soroti on Thursday, that the warriors attacked the village at about 3:00am and raided eight heads of cattle.

They however lost six cattle in a pursuit by the joint security force.

The RDC said Monday’s attack is one in a series of attacks suffered by the people in recent months.

RDC who doubles as Chairperson District Security Committee said the army was still pursuing the notorious warriors.
