Police in Kyenjojo district are investigating a case of double murder and aggravated robbery involving two Boda boda cyclists whose bodies were recovered from Matiri forest reserve.

Vincent Twesige, the Rwenzori West Police Spokesperson has identified the victims Patrick Kyaligonza and Monday Aliguma, both residents of Mpunda ward Kyenjojo town council in Kyenjojo district.

According to multiple sources, the two riders were last seen on Saturday around 8 pm before unidentified persons hired them to take them to Rwibale village in Kihura sub-county.

However, they neither returned to their homes nor picked their calls, which prompted residents and police to search for them mainly in Mukonomura and Matiri forests.
