Amos Wambede, the Sozi councillor at Mpatta sub county attributes the poor working conditions to lack of office space that has for so long contributed to absenteeism amongst workers which does not only affect service delivery but also realization of revenue in the area.

Other sub counties struggling with working space in Mukono are mainly the newly created town councils including Kasawo, Katosi, Ntenjeru-Kisoga and Namataba.

The District Chairperson Peter Bakaluba Mukasa says the district is yet to come up with a new program that will help sub counties put to good use local revenues collected since it should carter for some of the equipment such as chairs.
