According to Mudong, Pastor Enamu was driving with his family from his village in Otimai B Aputi Sub County in Amolatar district where they had gone for a funeral.

Pastor Johnson Enamu of Truth Fountain West Church and three members of his family have perished in a motor accident along Lira-Soroti Highway. The other accident victims include Alice Enamu, the wife of Pastor Enamu, his mother, Norah Atim and maid.
Two children aboard the same vehicle survived with injuries. David Ongom Mudong, the North Kyoga Region Police Spokesperson, says the accident occurred at around 9:30pm on Wednesday night at Gweng-abara, just three kilometers from Lira town along Lira-Soroti Highway.
He says that the pastor, who was driving with his family in a Toyota RAV 4, rammed into a stationary tipper lorry registration number UAJ 791 U loaded with timber.

The deceased's bodies are lying at Lira regional hospital mortuary for a post-mortem. The children are also admitted at the same hospital in critical condition. The wreckage of the both vehicles has been towed to Lira Central Police Station.
Benson Obua Ogwal, the former Moroto County MP, says the late Pastor Enamu was his student at Comboni College Lira. He describes the deceased as a dynamic young-man who was a great preacher in his own right and will be missed by many.
