The following day, Nyirabakire used the PDM funds to purchase seven

Begumisa reportedly became furious and purchased poison, which
he administered to all seven goats, resulting in their immediate deaths. He
then went into hiding.
Nyirabakire later reported the incident to Kagadi police,
prompting them to launch an investigation and search for the suspect. Julius Hakiza,
the Albertine region police spokesperson stated that they successfully
apprehended the suspect on Tuesday and took him to Kagadi Central Police
Station, where he is currently detained.
