Christian leaders in Masindi say 2010 is the year for them to take a more active role in politics and society in their district.
2009 was a turbulent war for the Masindi district leadership. At the helm were the Chief Administrative Officer, Milton Kato and the LC5 chairman, Steven Birija, who were engaged in wrangles and fights over the way the district should be managed. So bitter were the disputes that the Masindi was split into two camps
