Two people have been confirmed dead following an accident involving a Ministry of Agriculture vehicle in
Nakasongola, along the Kampala-Gulu highway. Four others sustained injuries in the accident, which occurred this afternoon at Kakira, in Katuugo
The Officer in Charge of Katuugo Police Station Innocent Sande says
that the Isuzu double cabin vehicle, registration number UG 2474A, loaded with a casket, was heading to Pader district from Kampala when the tragedy occurred. He adds that the accident was caused by a puncture on the left hind
tyre, a result of which the vehicle lost control and swerved off the road before overturning.
