Moyo Residents Protest Harrasment by South Sudan Soldiers

The protests by the residents were promted by the recent arrest of Jimmy Vokuni, the Moyo LC 5 chairperson and four residents by the South Sudanese authorities in Kajo Keji.
Armed with placards and led by the Vokuni, the resident led a procession from Afogi border post to Moyo town council saying they are disappointed by the government' indifference to their plight. Vokuni told residents that he was tortured in detention by the South Sudan solider yet he had gone to the border on a mission of piece because of the dispute over Wano village in Moyo town.He warned that unless the president and government authorities take action to resolve the dispute, they will take matters in their own hands. //Cue in: “how gruesome how…”
