Mpanga Students Arrested For Violent attack on Kahinju secondary

Three students of Mpanga Secondary school in Fort Portal were on Friday arrested and released on police bond for attacking students of Kahinju secondary school during a football match.

Students of Mpanga secondary school turned violent when their school team conceded a goal from the Kahinju football team at Buhinga Stadium in Fort Portal town.

Mpanga students started throwing stones and barricaded the road to Kahinju Secondary school forcing the police to disperse them.

Wilson Kwanya the Regional Police Commander Western Uganda says that three ring leaders of the attack recorded statements and were released after their school administration apologized on their behalf.

Joshua Kagaba the Chairman Kabarole Post Primary Institutional Association says that they are yet on what disciplinary action to take against the students of Mpanga.

Last week students of Nyakasura secondary school were banned for two years from school football competitions for raiding Mpanga secondary school in a football match.
